Yesterday Sept 18, 2009 SM City Iloilo started their 3 Day Sale with a Motorcade around the City. As usual we were invited to join the parade which we accepted. We came around 7am (too early) for a 9:30 parade.We just hang out and enjoyed each other's company plus the siopao and juice courtesy of SM City.

here's our VW Birthday cake .it's made of Carrot Cake. My wife Mae baked the cake and did the icing ,while i did the sculpting ... and take note ..the Kombi is also a cake not styro as everyone thought it was.

July 4, 2009 marked the 2nd year anniversary of VWCP Iloilo Chapter. It was a fun filled event for all of us na addict sa Volks. We started the day with a "BUG RUN" around the city. Aseembly time 7am at VW Park , Boardwalk,Iloilo City. We took off at 9am sharp. As usual nag baha naman BA-O sa city..may kad-olanay, salute,dukol nga makita sa kilid dalan. The "bug run" ran smoothly wala traffic..we had our own police escorts to managed the traffic and besides it was early and a Saturday so wala gawa cars sa dalan. After the parade we returned to our usual hide out, VW Park Boardwalk ,Iloilo City. We had burger and PEPSI for snacks ,,pictures...pictorials etc......

VW party started at 4pm..but some came in late kay potluck kami..nag luto pa iban. Some just bought it from the resto para hapos he he he. We had lights and sounds..daw baylihan sa uma ....ha ha ha may music from MJ to Willie Revillame..to Atlantic star awww! Food and drinks overflowed...family, friends, lovers and sponsors came over to grace the occassion. It was a night to remember.

Typhoon Frank Anniversary.

Exactly two days ago, June 21, 2009 was the first year anniversary of Typhoon Frank that hit Iloilo City and its neighboring towns . For the first time in 75 years, Iloilo City was under water , mudflow( 4 to 6 feet high) from the mountains of Aklan and Calinog found its way in the city and other parts of Panay island. VW cars were not spared from his wrath. See for yourselves.
